The Scotch Crankie

This one started life as a hot air engine but being spectacularly unsuccessful it was converted to a steam pumper as I wanted to utilise a scotch crank system. It pumped well.
Whilst it appears to have twin power cylinders in fact one is just the inlet valve. There is no exhaust valve, spent steam/air is allowed to escape through an exhaust hole in the power cylinder.
